What are Auton lifts constructed of?

Made of welded steel construction, all of Auton's lifts use a unique rack and pinion drive, which unlike the old fashioned scissor-type lifts, eliminates wobble and can easily lift uneven loads.

Are your products available in custom sizes?

Yes. All of Auton's motorized lifts come in a variety of standard sizes, but can also be customized to your exact specifications.

Up to what weight capacity can your lifts handle?

That figure varies according to the application. However, customized lifts are available in sizes up to 20 feet wide and 8 feet high with a capacity of 2000 pounds.

Can your units swivel for easy viewing? How about extending forward?

Yes. Auton's Ceiling Lift can be ordered with the swivel option, while our Pop-Up TV Lift is offered with both the swivel and extend options.

Do your lifts come pre-assembled? If not, how easy are they to assemble?

Most models are in fact shipped ready-to-assemble. Using only four bolts to attach the side rails, our lifts are easy to assemble and take up a fraction of the space as compared to fully-assembled units; a great space-saver for shipping and storage.

What type of warranty does Auton offer?

Does Auton sell retail as well as wholesale?

Auton only sells wholesale, meaning that we sell to interior designers, decorators, cabinet makers, architects and the like. Because we only sell the motorized lift and not the cabinet in which it would be placed, we suggest that you have your designer, architect, etc. contact Auton directly to place your order.

Can I install your lifts on my own or am I going to need help?

Auton lifts come with easy to follow installation instructions. We are also avaiable for any questions you may have during the installation process.

How long will it take to receive my motorized lift once the order is placed?

Turnaround time depends upon whether you order a standard or custom built lift. We ship standard lifts within one week of the order being placed. Because custom built lifts can vary from one customer to another, there is no standard delivery time. If you are ordering a custom built lift, please ask your Auton representative when you can expect your product to be shipped.
